AFAD Emergency mobile application, developed by the Ministry of Interior, stands out in order not to experience more loss of life in disasters and to help citizens quickly. It offers a life-saving feature with its user-friendly design and ease of making an emergency call with a single button.

In order to use the application, which draws attention with many features such as the closest assembly areas in disaster areas, training videos for emergencies, it must first be downloaded to the device. Afterwards, the phone number is entered and the phone verification is done with the password received. Then, TC ID number and location authorizations need to be activated.

The AFAD Emergency application, which was developed to prevent the lack of communication, which is one of the biggest problems in natural disasters such as earthquakes, provides a solution to this problem with its One-Touch Emergency Call feature. It provides facilities such as location service and determination of the exact location of the caller by making calls over the internet.

The application, which also performed successfully to prevent the density caused by GSM lines, shows the locations that will enable the people to gather in safe areas away from dangerous and risky areas in the first hours of the disaster. All assembly areas can be easily viewed on the map. There is also support for directions.
