Afterlight, which is a very popular photo editing application on the iOS platform, was offered for download on Windows devices after Windows Phone and took its place in the Windows Store, which I think is a must have for Windows tablets. It did not surprise me that the application, which offers so many tools and filter options, came as a trial version, but it was interesting that the trial period with all the features available for use was only 3 days.

In the Windows 8 version of Afterlight, an interface that is not different from the mobile one welcomes us. The first thing that caught my attention, rather than the tools, is the Instagram integration, which allows you to edit the photos on your tablet or computer, or to transfer a new photo you will take with the shoot button located at the bottom. By connecting your Instagram account, you can edit your photos in Afterlight and like your Instagram photos directly from within the app.

All of the features that make Afterlight stand out are also available in the Windows app. There are dozens of options, from cropping and rotation tools to filters and borders, and best of all, using them does not require professionalism.
