Download Arduino IDE
Download Arduino IDE,
By downloading the Arduino program, you can write code and upload it to the circuit board. Arduino Software (IDE) is a free program that allows you to write code and determine what your Arduino product will do, using the Arduino programming language and the Arduino development environment. If you are interested in IoT (Internet of Things) projects, I recommend downloading the Arduino program.
What is Arduino?
As you know, Arduino is an easy-to-use hardware and software-based open source electronics platform. A product designed for anyone who does interactive projects. Arduino Software IDE is an editor that allows you to write the necessary codes for the product to function; It is open source software that everyone can contribute to its development. This program, which can be downloaded for free for Windows, Linux and MacOS, makes it easy for you to write the codes that determine how your product will behave and upload it to the circuit board. The program works with all Arduino boards.
How to Install Arduino?
Connect Arduinos USB cable to Arduino and plug it into your computer. The Arduino driver will be automatically loaded and then detected by your Arduino computer. You can also download Arduino drivers from their site, but keep in mind that the drivers differ according to the Arduino model.
How to Download and Install Arduino Program?
You can download the Arduino program to your Windows computer for free from the link above. The program is installed like other programs, you do not need to make any special settings/selections.
How to Use Arduino Program?
- Tools: Here you select the Arduino product you are using and the COM port the Arduino is connected to (if you do not know which port it is connected to, check the Device Manager).
- Program Compile: You can control the program you wrote with this button. (If there is an error in the code, the error and line you made in orange are written in the black area.)
- Program Compile & Upload: Before the code you write can be detected by Arduino, it must be compiled. The code you write with this button is compiled. If there is no error in the code, the code you write is translated into a language that Arduino can understand and is automatically sent to Arduino. You can follow this process from the progress bar as well as from the leds on the Arduino.
- Serial Monitor: You can see the data you sent to Arduino via the new window.
