The Basic Software Inventory program is one of the free and easy-to-use small programs that allow you to examine the software information of all WMI-enabled computers on a local network. To connect to other computers and get software information, all you have to do is enter the IP information of the computers into the program or directly enter their names in the local network. Later, you can examine all the software, or you can filter by entering only the manufacturers names and see whether the software of certain manufacturers is installed on the computer.

In addition to the manufacturer and program name options, the program also has extra features such as examining the programs installed after a certain date.

You can copy the obtained results and the report screen as text to the clipboard and paste it into other programs. One of the pluses of the program is that it allows saving in CSV format. Unfortunately, one of its handicaps is that it can only detect programs installed via Windows Installer, and it cannot detect programs that have other installation packages.
