It is quite frustrating when the screen times out and goes black while reading an article or e-book on your phone. We can extend this up to 30 minutes from the screen settings, and we can even make it not dim at all. But when we are going to read something, it can be difficult to change this setting constantly. The Caffeine application also prevents the screen from dimming for the time you set.

After clicking the Caffeine button in the Quick Settings menu, you can focus on the article you will read after you determine the time that the screen should not go dark. You can download the app for free, which automatically turns off your screen after the time you set.
