The Companion application is one of the most interesting security applications that we have come across recently. If you have doubts about the security of the places you visit in your daily life, you can always feel safe thanks to the Companion application that you can use on your Android devices, and you can inform your acquaintances and security guards in case something happens to you. Although it is necessary to be abroad for some functions of the application, it is also possible to use the basic functions from Turkey.

Download Companion

When using the application, you first select your starting point and ending point on the map. After you add your acquaintances within the application that you want to follow this route you have chosen, a link is sent to them where they can follow your current location. In the meantime, of course, the GPS connection must also be active.

If you start running in any way, do not reach your place on time, if your earphones are removed or if you press the danger button in the application, all of this information is transmitted directly to those who follow you and they are informed that you are in danger. In some countries, automatic transmission of information to the surrounding police stations is possible thanks to the panic button, but unfortunately, this feature is not available in our country yet.

There is also a query button that your acquaintances can use to ask about your situation. If you do not respond to the notification received with this button for 15 seconds, all attached persons are informed about this issue and it can be understood whether there is an emergency or not. The links you can use to call emergency phones are also included in Companion.
