The user can specify the resolution of the videos, the frames per second, the audio input channel and the volume level.

Another useful feature of D3DGear is the frame rate display counter, which gives the screen the frame rate per second. You can determine the position, font color and size of this counter, which you can activate with the shortcut you assign on the keyboard.

Apart from the video recording feature, D3DGear also has the feature of taking screenshots. With the help of this feature, you can save the images you will capture from the games to your computer in BMP, JPG, TGA, PNG, PPM and HDR formats. If you wish, you can save the pictures to which you can add the date label or the number of frame rates per second, by pressing and holding the hotkey that you can optionally assign, one after the other.

One of the most important features of D3DGear is that it allows you to convert your recorded videos into live video broadcasts.
