Darksiders Genesis is an action game developed by Airship Syndicate and published by THQ Nordic. While the story of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse was handled differently in the game, the players saw the story of a different horseman in each game of the series. Darksiders Genesis, on the other hand, came to the fore by bringing innovation to the series in terms of telling the beginning of the whole story. Since the dawn of creation, it is the COUNCILs duty to maintain the balance of existence. The orders of the Council are carried out by the Nephilim of the Apocalypse (beings who emerged from the extraordinary combination of demons and angels), who have pledged allegiance to them and have been given immense powers in return. But the Horsemen of the Apocalypse come at a heavy price for this power. They paid: they were ordered to use their power first to destroy other members of their own kind.After a bloody battle in Heaven, the Horsemen of the Apocalypse obeyed the order and destroyed the other Nephilim.

WAR and CONFLICT, who still cannot recover from the effects of this tragedy, is given a new mission: LUCIFER, the mysterious king of demons, is in the plan to disturb the Balance by giving extraordinary powers to the chief demons in Hell, and War and Conflict must prevent this. They will descend into Hell and hunt down these arch demons, gather information, and finally foil this intricate demon conspiracy to attempt to upset the Balance and destroy all creation.

DARKSIDERS: GENESIS is a thriller and action-packed adventure game where you go to Hell and back with fiery weapons and swinging swords, in the midst of all manner of friends and foes, from demon armies to angels. With Genesis, players take a closer look at the world of DARKSIDERS and meet the apocalyptic horseman named CONFLICT, without moving on to the story of the original game.
