DiRT Showdown can be defined as a racing game that gives a different flavor to the Dirt series developed by Codemastaers.

Codemasters has proven its mastery in racing games with series such as Colin McRae and GRID, which it has previously published. The developer managed to combine both realism and high-quality graphics in these games, giving us unique racing experiences. After Colin McRaes death, this series, named after the famous rally player, continued under the DiRT series. The DiRT series offers a rally-oriented gaming experience while combining high realism with a beautiful look. DiRT Showdown, on the other hand, comes out of the classic rally line of the series.

In DiRT Showdown, we participate in show years instead of classic races and we try to show our driving skills in these races. In the game, we sometimes go to the arenas in a way that reminds us of the classic car smashing game Destruction Derby, collide our vehicles, fight by smashing the vehicles of our opponents, and sometimes we compete to be the first on tracks with difficult conditions.

There are also mechanics that will spice up the game in DiRT Showdown. In some races, we can perform crazy moves using nitro. Different vehicle and paint options, different weather conditions, the opportunity to race day or night, different race tracks around the world are waiting for the players at DiRT Showdown.
