EchoWear, one of the applications developed for Android Wear, the operating system designed by Google for wearable devices, uses the microphone of your smart watch to record a short part of the song playing in your location and upload it to a website called Gracenote. If the app recognizes the song after installation, it mirrors the song on your watch screen.
