Expeditions, an application that you can download and use for free on your smartphones and tablets using the Android operating system, is an application developed by Google for use in education.

However, you can also use the application to see different places in the world. Expeditions basically brings 360-degree views of various places to your phone or tablet, allowing you to visit these places in groups.

With the virtual reality support of the application, you can browse these places with your Google Cardboard virtual reality glasses, just like you are visiting these places in real life. But virtual reality glasses are not required to use the application. You can also use Google Expeditions without any virtual reality glasses.

Different 360-degree photos taken for different places in Expeditions are presented to users as scenes. Users can look in any direction while browsing these scenes, and they can have information about the remarkable points with the guide in the application. In order to view these places, you need to download the images of those places for the first time.

When using the application in groups, all devices are paired over the wireless network. In this way, a user can be a guide. If you are a teacher, you can be the guide of your excursion group. There are more than 200 places waiting to be discovered in Expeditions.
