In GTA 4, where we look at the series for the first time through the eyes of a hero from outside the United States, we can individually experience the reality behind the concept of the American dream. The story of our game revolves around our hero named Niko Bellic. Niko, who was born and raised in the Balkans, was involved in dark affairs in his country in the past and immigrated to America, Liberty City, to save his life. When our hero sets foot in Liberty City, he first settles with his cousin Roman. The duos goal is to live the American dream of wealth and fame and forget their past. But after doing a few errands at home, he doesnt sleep in the market, and Niko and Roman are involved in a world in which psychopaths, drug and human traffickers, and thieves take their place. In order to pay their debts, they stay stuck in this world and discover that the American dream is not exactly what they imagined. We are helping our hero to get out of this swamp.
