Hunt Down the Freeman has a story that takes place over a long period of time, starting with the first Half-Life game and covering the events in Half-Life 2. In Hunt Down the Freeman, the story of a soldier named Mitchell replaces Gordon Freeman, the main protagonist of Half-Life games. Sent on a special mission to the Black Mesa facilities, Mitchells crew is destroyed by Gordon Freeman. Injured in this incident, Mitchell remains in a coma for a long time. Our hero, who opens his eyes in a military hospital, thinks that everything is over; but he discovers that all events have just begun.

Hunt Down the Freeman is about a revenge story. Mitchell struggles to take down Gordon Freeman, who destroyed his team in the game. So the villain of the game is Gordon Freeman. This interesting alternate story offers players an extraordinary gaming experience.

In Hunt Down the Freeman, new characters, weapons, maps and voiceovers that are not included in Half-Life games await players. Care was taken to ensure that the graphics of the game, which was developed with the Source game engine, comply with todays standards. In addition, long cutscenes prepared thanks to Source Filmmaker add depth to the game in terms of story.
