Crypto Video Protector & Media Player is a media player that allows you to both play video and protect your videos with video encryption feature.

Crypto Video Protector & Media Player allows you to create and play password protected video files in PPMF format.

What is PPMF Password Protected Media File?

A PPMF file is a media file (such as video or audio mp3) encrypted with the AES-256 method and packaged.

There is no data loss in the PPMF file. PPMF files can be restored to their original state (including original file name, file creation, modification, etc.) by entering the password if desired.

All the data in the PPMF file is encrypted, so an unknown PPMF file cannot be played, information about its content cannot be obtained, the original file name cannot be determined, and cannot be decrypted.

The PPMF file consists of: Encrypted media, video poster image, images taken from video content, media file name, rating, codec information, media descriptive tags, subtitles, etc.

PPMF files can be listed with poster images (as if previewing image files in a folder)

When you hover your mouse over the poster image of the PPMF file, the images of the video content are shown, and when you hover your mouse over the progress bar while the video is playing, the picture of that part of the video is shown (as in the YouTube player).

By entering the password, PPMF files can be played directly without waiting, creating temporary files and leaving no trace on the computer.

You can rate PPMF files, add media descriptive keywords (tag), change the poster image (from the file, video images or take a snapshot while playing the video), add subtitles afterwards.

While listing PPMF files, you can sort by score, search and filter by tag.

Media Player Features

Plays all media files (including HEVC x265 12-bit encoded videos) without the need to install a codec.

Subtitle text encoding is automatically detected. Thus, the subtitles are displayed properly without the need for any adjustments.

When you assign normal media file extensions to the program, you can directly play media files by double-clicking them. You can assign the desired file type to Crypto Video Protector by right-clicking the media file and using the Open with menu.

Privacy and Security

When playing PPMF files, you do not need to enter a password twice. The passwords you enter after opening the program are temporarily kept in memory with Securestring technology until the program is closed.

Precautions have been taken against the possibility of forgetting the program openly. The program will crash when the PC is idle for the time you set or you press the Panic button. To unlock, you must enter one of the passwords you have entered before. The program closes itself because the wrong password is entered 3 times in a row.

Turkish Dubbing from Subtitle

Using the Turkish dubbing feature from the subtitles, you can voice the movies with Turkish subtitles to the computer using TTS and watch the movies as Turkish dubbing. This feature is a very useful feature for those who do not like to read subtitles, the visually impaired, those with slow reading problems, the elderly and children who have just learned to read.

Subtitle Download

For foreign movies and TV series, it is possible to find and download automatic Subtitles. Subtitles can be searched by file fingerprint (hash code) or file name. The season and episode numbers of the series are automatically detected from the file and can be searched accordingly.

Syncing Subtitles

You can make the out of sync subtitles compatible with the movie by adjusting the time or FPS.

PPMF Copy Finder

With this feature, you can free up space on your disk by finding identical PPMF files and deleting any copies.
