You may have noticed that in some cases files on Mac computers cannot be deleted, moved or renamed. This is usually due to access permissions or another application that is still using that file. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see which program continues to use those files, and these applications mostly run in the background.

The Lock-UnMatic program allows you to see which applications are occupied by the files that you cannot make any changes to, and at the same time, you can stop all these applications from within the program and release your file. All you have to do is grab the file you want to change and drop it into the application window. Applications will appear instantly and you will be able to complete the termination process.

Although similar conditions exist in Windows, the solution of the problem becomes easier as services and background services can be turned off in Windows task manager. While using your MacOSX computer, do not forget to try the Lock-UnMatic application for access problems of your files and check if the problem is caused by another application.
