Media Companion is a free and useful movie archiving software designed for you to create XBMC compatible movie and TV series archives. Although the program may seem intimidating at first with its comprehensive interface, it is actually quite practical in terms of use.

The program, which is in English, allows you to create a perfect archive by scanning your entire archive of movies and TV shows, from movie posters to detailed explanations, from actor pictures to ratings, from fan posters to its genre and whether it has been watched or not, by pulling every detail you can think of from the site you want. Since the program makes use of English-sourced sites, your archive information will be recorded in English. Every field where the program draws information can be rearranged.

In order to operate with Media Companion, you first need to introduce your movie folder from the Add Movie Folder Browser section in the Folders section. Then, you can click on the Search for new movies section to automatically retrieve movie information. It is used for your basic settings in the General Preferences menu.
