Mobbles detects the mobble creatures around you using your phones radar and you try to catch the closest ones. But you have to act very quickly or they will run away.

Then, as you catch these creatures, you take care of them. You remember the virtual dolls we used to have. This game is actually a kind of virtual baby because its all your duty to feed the creatures, play with them, take care of them.

Just like in Pokemon, you use your own creatures to catch them. So the better you take care of your own creatures and level them up, the easier you can catch new ones.
