In Pacific Wings, which is a truly retro-style game, we control our plane from a birds eye view and try to destroy the enemies that come across as we move vertically. The story of the game takes place in the most critical moments of World War II. In this period, the conflicts between America and Japan for dominance over the islands of the Pacific Ocean accelerated. While the Japanese are known for their kamikaze planes that carry out suicide attacks on enemy lines, the Americans are trying to counter this with their P-38 warplanes. We join the war as an armament pilot and fight the Japanese by jumping on our P-38 plane and try to change the course of the war.

In Pacific Wings, we direct our plane with the W, A, S, D keys and open fire on the enemies with the Space or Ctrl key. We have to follow the enemies firing towards us on the screen and dodge their bullets. During the game, we come across many different Japanese warplanes. In order to defeat the increasingly powerful enemy planes, we are offered 3 weapon upgrades, and we can increase our firepower with these improvements.
