This tool, which you can download and use completely free of charge on your computers, basically helps you analyze the performance of the game you developed using DirectX 12 and detect deficiencies and errors. Thanks to PIX, you can easily access the data you need to configure the DirectX 12 optimization of the game you developed.

The operations that PIX can do are:

- GPU monitoring: Direct3D 12 graphics render performance of the graphics processor is measured while your game is running

- Timing tracking: Measuring how processes executed on CPU and GPU are distributed while your game is running

- Function tracking: measuring how often each function is executed and how often it is called

- Memory tracking: measuring how your game uses system memory
