You can create your own 8-bit animations step by step thanks to this animation program that you can download and use completely free of charge on your computers. 8-bit games have started to attract attention again, especially recently. As a result of this interest, the number of animations used in these games has also increased. If you are thinking about how to create such animations, Pixelaria may be the right choice for you.

While Pixelaria allows you to create your own animations with the tools it has, it also allows you to import previously created animations into the program and make changes on these animations. With the program, you can create animations with the width and height you specify, determine the FPS (frame rate per second) value of the animation, and change the frame skip value.

Pixelaria supports almost all common image formats. You can define images in PNG, JPG, BMP, GIF, JPEG and TIFF formats to the program. You can add these pictures to the program as frames. You can also edit the pictures in each frame by double-clicking on them and make changes to the original picture.

For now, you can only export the animations you created with Pixelaria in PXL format. The lack of export feature as GIF and EXE in the program is a big shortcoming.
