Combining pixel-based graphics with an open world, Risk of Rain Returns is an online MMORPG game. This game, which you can play alone or with three friends, takes place on the planet Petrichor V, where you crash-landed. Survive against hordes of enemies and upgrade your skills on this planet far from Earth.

As you progress through the game, you will obtain weapons and special abilities. Of course, some of these features are normal abilities that you already have, such as fast running and jumping. Other abilities have features such as stun that are effective on enemies. There are 15 different characters you can choose from in the game, and each of them has different features. You can embark on your survival adventure by choosing any character you want.
