There are two factions in the Shaiya game, called the Alliance of Light and the Brotherhood of Rage. Both sides consist of two different races within themselves. The Alliance of Light has humans and elves, while the Brotherhood of Rage has vails and nordeins. There are selectable sub-characters for each race in the Shaiya game, which has a total of four playable races. These characters have their own unique features and items they can use. For example, a Vail Assassin is faster than other characters and has abilities such as concealment and transformation. Also, an Elven Archer has superior long range accuracy.

The world of Shaiya has a PvE system and challenging dungeons, as well as a very strong PvP system, despite other huge online games. Shaiya, which stands out especially with the Troop System and PvP ranks, has provided the best opportunity for players to do PvP.
