We witness the adventures of our hero named Velvet in Tales of Berseria, a game decorated with cutscenes and graphics in an anime look. The story of the game is based on the tragedy that Velvet went through. Velvet, who once had a calm nature and was kind to her surroundings, goes through a big change after these events and meets with hatred and anger. Velvet begins to travel the world by joining a pirate gang after her change.

In Tales of Berseria, the story of Velvets rediscovery is handled. Traveling on the open seas, our hero sets foot in the kingdom called Midgand and travels through the islands that make up this kingdom, one by one. We control him in this adventure and make him overcome the dangers he encounters.

Tales of Berserias combat system is somewhat similar to classic Final Fantasy games. This similarity, remaining in the visual dimension, saves the game from being a Final Fantasy clone due to the real-time battles in Tales of Berseria.
