In Through the Woods, a Norwegian horror game, we witness the struggle of a mother who lost her child to find her child. One day, our heroine mothers child dives into the forest covered with dense trees and disappears without leaving any trace. The mother, on the other hand, risks everything to find her child and he is on the way to the forest. When the mother enters the forest, there is a force that constantly follows her. While Orman, with threatening actions, expresses to the mother that he is a stranger who does not belong here, we need to stay on our way and follow the trail of our child by getting rid of the dangers.

In Through the Woods we try to find clues and escape deadly traps as the story is told through the mothers mouth. Our only weapon during our adventure is our flashlight. The mythological elements sprinkled in the game add a nice touch to the game.

The dark forest atmosphere is portrayed quite successfully in Through the Woods. The lighting effects and environmental details in the game are also pleasing to the eye.
