TouchMail is a completely free and ad-free email application developed for computers and tablets with Windows 8.1 operating system. Offering special control options for both desktop and touch screen device owners, the application supports Gmail, Yahoo!, Mail, Office 365 and many IMAP e-mail providers.

TouchMail, which you can use as an alternative to the default e-mail application of Windows 8.1, offers a great view for your e-mails. Contact icon, large live boxes with senders name, date, subject line information, scrolling between messages with left and right swipe, archive messages with up swipe, select and open messages with down swipe, show messages in columns, etc. By using the filtering function of the application that comes with the features, you can easily list the messages you have read / unread, the messages from your private contacts, the messages containing files, the messages you have marked as high priority, and the messages received within the date range you specify.

Since TouchMail is currently under development, it has many shortcomings including custom folder creation, attachment sending, live tile notifications. Also, you cannot set TouchMail as your default email application.
