The interface of the program is uncomplicated, it is placed on a standard Windows window and you can use the file manager to open your images besides the drag/drop method, but unfortunately it is not possible to work on more than one image at the same time.

After you open the photo you want to work on in the program, you can start by choosing the color you want from red, blue and green as the central color. Then you can apply any of three different threshold levels to your image.

At the top right of the screen, there is an on-the-fly section that allows you to view the differences between the central color value and the other color values. You can also switch between the original picture and mask mode with the help of the program.

When the edits you want to make on the photo are finished, you can save your photos by specifying an output directory and filename. You can also reset all the values ​​you have changed to default and also browse the log file if you wish.

Being a simple software, Vampix has very good response times and uses system resources very moderately. During my tests, I did not encounter any freezing, crashing or otherwise, but the inability to work on different formats such as BMP, PNG, GIF and TIF is the downside of the program.
