Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is an action role-playing hack and slash dungeon game. The dark-themed fantasy game progresses through a three-player story on procedurally explorable maps where players battle hordes of monsters and collect valuable loot. Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem on Steam!

You are one of three survivors of the Castagath massacre. You were rescued by the Grand Inquisitor Heimlock, trained at the military academy at a very young age and enlisted to become excellent soldiers against supernatural forces. You and your childhood friends also had the chance to benefit from Heimlocks occasional advice and education, which has led to Valeria and Edric being referred to as the Heimlock Children.

Recently, the Brotherhood of Dawn infiltrated the Red Keep, a mysterious republican stronghold lost among the northern deserts known as the Red Keeps. While the purpose of the attack was unclear, the Republican Senate decided to retaliate against all known locations of the Brotherhood. Soldiers led by Grand Inquisitor Heimlock were soon deployed to the wreckage shores near the city-state of Stormfall to end the Brotherhood camp.

Under the supervision of Justicar Maeyls, you and your two childhood friends are part of the Dawnbane operation.

Free character development: Use a wide variety of weapons and find your own playstyle thanks to their unique stances and combinations. There are no classes in Wolcen, only your weapons set the rules for your skill types.
Three types of resources: Rage and Willpower interact with each other using the Resource Opposition System. Stamina lets you use the dodge roll to avoid danger or advance faster.
Variety of items: Prepare according to your attack and defense preferences with common, magical, rare and legendary items. Break the rules and unlock new possibilities with unique items and rare attachments.
Rotary passive skill tree: Forge your own path through 21 subclass levels available in Gate of Fates to customize your passives and match them to your playstyle.
Skill customization: Hone your skills with your character or alternative resources to earn modifier points and create your own unique combination of skill modifiers. Change your damage type, add new functions, give power-ups or debuffs, completely change the mechanics of the skill. The options are unlimited.
Strategic challenges: Wolcens creatures have complex patterns, including deadly skills. Watch out for various signs and animation anticipation to avoid deadly attacks using your dodge ability.
Aspects of the Apocalypse: All characters can evolve into one of the 4 Heavenly incarnations available, each offering 4 different skills and a devastating ultimate ability.
Endless replayability: Improve your gear by looting or crafting, collect resources to unlock rare missions, face advanced challenges for special rewards, try new builds, become the most successful. Whether you like to play alone or with friends, there is always something to do.
A taste of beauty: using Cryengine technology makes Wolcen an immersive and beautiful game with highly detailed armors and weapons. In addition, 8 hours of epic orchestral music will accompany you throughout your journey.
Reveal your fashion sense: Customize your look by changing the visuals of your armors and weapons. Collect over 100 different paints and adjust your armor to have your own unique style. The asymmetric armor system will also allow you to change your look for the left and right shoulder and glove.
Difficulty modes: Choose how you want to do the campaign with 2 different difficulty settings: Story mode and Normal mode. The endgame is shaped to allow for a gradual increase in difficulty.
