We hadnt been able to play a new Worms game on our computers for years. Worms games in the 90s and early 2000s gave us unique memories. The Worms series, which offers unlimited excitement especially in online matches, is back with Worms WMD. The games developer, Team 17, describes Worms WMD as the honorary sequel to Worms Armageddon.

Worms WMD preserves the classic 2D gameplay of the series. The game is basically a turn-based war game. In the game, players fight against enemy teams with their teams consisting of several worm soldiers. While doing this job, they can use their very stupid weapon options. In turn-based battles, you make your move first and then wait for your opponent to make his move. You have to make fine calculations and make tactical decisions according to the characteristics of the weapons you use. We are racing against time in every hand. Thats why things get exciting.

You can play Worms WMD alone or against other players over the internet. We can participate in rank-based battles in online mode. In online matches, 6 players can fight large-scale battles with 8 worms in each team.

Worms WMD preserves classic weapons and introduces us to new weapon types and crafting system. We can also use various war vehicles in the game.
